It’s been far too long since I have last raved and ranted about the great places to dine in Calgary. Though I have not written for quite some time, I cannot go without mentioning one of the many restaurants that I have visited in the last couple of months–Jacqueline Suzanne’s.
After the lovely Tanya recommend this little gem of a restaurant in the heart of Inglewood, I knew that Jacqueline Suzanne’s would be the perfect place to take my mom for Mothers Day. As I predicted, Tanya’s recommendation was a brilliant one.
Though the restaurant itself may be understated from the outside, it is anything but understated on the inside. From Victorian-esque pictures on the walls to the gigantic couches, you not only feel like you’re somewhere special but also feel right at home. Aside from the cozy vintage environment filled with “rich burgundy and green damask amongst table and chairs”, the food is amazing–as good, if not better than The Coup. I can only assume that their dinner menu is equally as impressive and am very much looking forward to going back.
Happy dining at Jacqueline Suzanne’s!
